Can’t find the answer you’re looking for? Reach out to us at hello@gumiworks.com —we’re always happy to discuss the finer details of our work
You can start by filling out our Enquiry Form or emailing us at hello@gumiworks.com. Since most of our items are Made-to-Order (MTO), we will discuss your dimensions, color preferences, and installation requirements to provide a bespoke quote.
For all Made-To-Order products, a 50% deposit is required upfront to secure your production slot and commence work. The remaining balance is due prior to or upon delivery/installation.
Yes, we offer bespoke concrete finish samples to help you choose the right tone and texture for your space. Please contact us to request a sample colour and finish.
Our standard processing time for Ready-To-Buy items is 1–2 weeks. However, for Made-To-Order pieces and larger projects, the timeframe may vary based on the complexity and our current workshop schedule. Typically 3–5 weeks.
It depends on the item. Smaller ‘Ready to Buy’ concrete home decor or accessories are usually sent via tracked pallet delivery (kerbside). Large, heavy items like bespoke dining tables and outdoor kitchens are delivered and installed by our specialist team. We provide a full white-glove installation service across London and the UK to ensure your piece is handled safely and positioned correctly for a flawless finish.
Delivery for Made-To-Order items is calculated manually during the quote, based on your location, item size, and site access. Ready-To-Buy items have predefined charges assigned at checkout.
Yes. International delivery is available upon inquiry. We provide a total cost that includes freight and professional, high-security crating to ensure your item arrives safely. Please contact us for a custom shipping quote.
Preparation is key to a smooth installation! Please ensure your site is level and accessible prior to our arrival. In instances where our team cannot complete the install due to site conditions, a revisit fee will be necessary to reschedule your slot.
For complex or uncertain spaces, we will conduct a site visit to inspect access points before fabrication.
Each piece is handcrafted. You acknowledge that natural variations in color, texture, and finish—including “crazing” (fine surface lines), tonal mottling, and minor air voids—are inherent characteristics of concrete. These are a natural result of the curing process and are not considered manufacturing defects.
This organic variation is what makes bespoke concrete furniture a unique alternative to mass-produced materials.
Yes, all our concrete products are suitable for outdoor use, including; dining and coffee tables, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, and BBQs are designed for the elements. However, we recommend following our care guidelines to maintain the finish over time.
Concrete is a premium material that develops character over time. Because we use the ICT Fusion system, your piece is highly protected, but it still requires thoughtful care. For daily maintenance, we recommend a “clean as you go” approach using mild soapy water and a soft cloth. Please avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges, as these can damage the protective sealer. A detailed care guide will be provided with your delivery to help you keep your piece in top condition.
We use advanced Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) by KodiakPro. This specialised mix allows us to create thinner, lighter, and much stronger pieces than traditional cast concrete, without compromising on the raw, industrial aesthetic.
All our pieces are finished with ICT Fusion Sealer. This is a professional-grade, high-performance sealer designed specifically for artisan concrete. It provides excellent resistance against stains and scratches while maintaining a natural look and feel. Unlike standard hardware-store sealers, ICT Fusion is breathable and deeply integrated into the concrete for long-lasting protection.
Our GFRC mix is engineered for high flexural strength to minimize the risk of structural cracking. While “crazing” (micro-fine surface lines) can occasionally occur as the concrete cures and breathes, these do not affect the structural integrity and are considered part of the material’s natural character.
Yes. Our concrete, when it’s fully cured, surfaces are non-toxic and suitable for use in kitchens and dining areas.
The process depends on whether your item is Made-to-Order (MTO) or Ready-to-Buy (RTB):
Made-to-Order (MTO): We offer a 48-hour grace period for a full refund. After 48 hours, production planning and material procurement begin, and your 50% deposit becomes non-refundable.
Ready-to-Buy (RTB): You may cancel any time before dispatch for a full refund.
We do not accept returns on Made-to-Order (MTO) items because they are crafted to your unique specifications.
Ready-to-Buy (RTB) items can be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are in original, unused condition.
To start a return, please email hello@gumiworks.com. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Because concrete and stone items are fragile, we strongly recommend using a tracked, insured service and original packaging to ensure the item arrives back at our workshop safely.
Please contact us within 7 days of receipt with clear photos of the damage. If verified, we will arrange for a repair or replacement at no additional cost.
